It is important to ensure that the material is completely dry before compression for desired moisture.

Compression

The tablet compression process is the stage of tablet manufacturing where the powder or granules are compressed into the desired shape. This is done using a tablet press, which exerts a high amount of force on the powder to compress it into the die of the tablet press. The tablet press can have one or more dies, which determines the shape and size of the tablet.

Compression is an important step in tablet manufacturing because it affects the physical properties of the tablet, such as its hardness, friability, and density. The compression process also affects the way the tablet dissolves and how much active ingredient is released when it dissolves. Tablet presses can be programmed to apply different levels of force to the powder, which affects these physical properties.

Coating

Once the tablets pass QC, they are transferred to the packing area where they are packaged according to customer specifications.
