SOP for Storage of Sampling Tools

1.0 OBJECTIVE

To describe the procedure for storage of sampling tools.

2.0 SCOPE

This SOP is applicable to the procedure for storage of sampling tools.

5.0 PROCEDURE

5.1 Separate the used and clean tools accordingly.
5.2 Keep the used sampling tools to wash down area of quality control department.
5.3 Wash the tools as per SOP for cleaning of sampling tools.
5.4 From the hot air oven transfer dry tools on the fixed place of Q.C. Laboratory.
5.5 Now wrap all the tools individually in butter papers or Aluminium foil.
5.6 Ensure that there is no exposure to sampling tool after wrapping with butter paper.
5.7 Seal the butter paper by transparent cellulose paper.
5.8 Affix the tag ‘CLEAN’ label duly signed with the date on the sampling tools.
5.9 Kept clean tools in the cupboard duly locked.
